Builder: BadMax

 

From a German builder of hot Vmax's.  Metzeler 240/40-18 on 8.5" widened and raised stock rim (Metzeler specifies 8" minimum rim width), 180/70-18 on the front.  The drag bars, round Honda mirrors, and Kellerman bar-end turn signals look great together.  The Europeans seem to have a keen eye for tasteful customization.  The European bikes just seem to look like a factory custom.  From the BadMax site (www.badmax.de), as translated by Altavista:

1. Rocker change kit with rim for 240 tire. Change Original rocker with all distances, adapters and knockout spindle in black (powder-coated), as well as rim change on 8.5 inch with Metzeler 240/40-18 tires (rims highly polished or powder-coats). DM 5,500. [$2,425 USD a/o Jan. 2002]

3. Front wheel change on 5,0 inch in front. Change of the front wheel on 5.0 inch with Metzeler 180-70-18 tyre (rims highly polished or powder-coats). DM 1,750. [$772 USD a/o Jan. 2002]

4. Sport sportfender briefly for front wheel change. Beautiful, sporty shield suitably for tail and front wheel change. (shield, unlacquered, is necessary for front wheel change!). DM 490. [$217 USD a/o Jan. 2002]
