The Valkyrie is the original muscle bike. As you may have noticed, the look that Honda was going for with the Valkyrie is "power cruiser"--a 50’s hot rod updated for the 90’s, sort of a Boyd’s look. I have tried to ensure that my modifications remain consistent with this theme--"clean." Another introductory note: Support the guys who support our hobby. These include Chet at Rattlebars, whose products, service, and technical knowledge are second to none. For everything else, Hal Greenlee at Direct Line, Inc. (the VRCC Store) is the place to go. Direct Line will beat any price out there and a portion of the revenues goes to support the VRCC site. Remember, just because the Direct Line Web site does not show a part, that does not mean that Direct Line can’t get it--just give them a call. Update (1/20/02): the Hondaline bag guards, fork deflectors, and stock handlebars are now gone. I am also removing the sissy bar uprights and replacing the mirrors with something simpler. These mods stray too far away from the "clean" theme. |
