foot control modifications

Shown above is Rattlebars' Kick Shift.  Typical excellent Rattlebars quality.  Works great combined with Rattlebars’ Peg Relo kit.

Note also the KuryAkyn Iso footpegs and Iso shifter peg, and with Rattlebars’ Allen Snap Caps covering the allen bolt heads on the pegs and Spectre bolt caps on the exposed hex head bolts.  Also shown is the Hondaline chrome sidestand. (Doh! just realized I forgot to reinstall the snap caps for the above photo)

Notice anything funny in the above picture?  The footpegs are reversed.  Believe it or not, this gives about an inch more legroom.  This is a great trick for tall guys.  If you have the footpeg relo kit, this will not work without the Kick Shift, since your foot will no longer comfortably fit under the shift peg for unshifts.

Visible in this photo is the KuryAkyn brake pedal cover.  To prevent rear wheel lockups (and the dreaded highside), I lowered the brake pedal, which keeps me from getting too aggressive on the rear brake.  Since the adjustment, I rarely lock up the rear.
