Hauling a 700 pound bike in a lowered truck is a generally bad idea. The rear axle is about an inch off the bump stops. But it looks cool.
The bike goes into the bed using a 3-piece ramp setup which is so wide you can walk the bike up.
The ramps will barely fit in the bed with the tailgate closed if turned diagonally. The aluminum channel (used to take the weight off of the tailgate) fits with no problem. The notch in the end of the channel is to allow the ramps to sit flush on the edge of the tailgate. The taper is just to make sure that no hard bits drag on the way up. The total height is about 6'3".
